1760 IMAGINING and IMAGING

1760 IMAGINING and IMAGING -Gautam Shah

Imagining and Imaging, are two similar sounding words, but different processes.

Imagining is mental process of conjecturing things, both at conscious and subconscious levels. Most such images are forgotten or not well cared. Imagining could be, unreal, a fancy, falsified, illusory phantasms or implication. The imagining, is mostly a personal understanding, or an implicit notion. It can lead to unknown exposures and cause behavioural changes.

Imaging, is a process of conversion, of whatever was perceived. The process at a personal level, may include perceptions of other nature. The conversion uses energy, beyond the human body and some form of media for imprinting. It is realistic, though not necessarily an explicit product. The process is fairly rational and consistent, yet it is prone to some corruption. The anomalies arise, due to the scale, colour, texture, orientation and psychological state perceiving the image. The imaging, across, the same sensuality or its transliteration, are affected by the ’noise’. The imagining products, like, cardiogram, satellite images, etc. can be fairly complex, and may require proficiency to read.

The important part of being a creative designer is to learn Imagining, get hold of those implicit ideas, and use the imaging techniques, to convert them to some explicit form.
